Decrim doesn't mean Legal, some seem to think it does.

 

Decrim is a false sense of security, people think its safe, but more people get caught with it and fined like Jabez said... a great revenue raiser.

 

Decrim doesn't mean jack shit really... it Decriminalized in places like California and Amsterdam, but the cops are still very much anti pot, and raid coffee shops and medical marijuana shops on a regular basis, even if their told not to..

 

End of the day its up to who busts you, it is still illegal, and they can still charge you even if it is Decrim'd, state laws don't really hold up.. and thats the excuse a lot of those cops use, that decrim is not valid or recognised by the parent countries laws.

I'd rather be fined on the spot than sent to jail. Having said that, obviously I would be fighting for complete legalization.. how to not contribute to the revenue grabbing scheme: don't get caught! Until it were legalized I would not be walking around with it anyway.
