Why don't we create a nationalized cannabis law reform day?

Ever been to an outdoor rave? 30000 people completely off their face with only normally a handful of arrests. Usually those combining amphetamines and surprise suprise, alcohol.

so true. even just the usual music events. Parklife in brisbane 2008, while being an awesome event for me, was horrible for my friend who works at brisbane royal... so many patients overdosing.. so maany people chopped off their nuts.. I was surprised there weren't more arrests!

Both really good ideas. A national " weed is really your freind day" is a great idea and something to work towards.

I really like the music festival idea alot.

Considering that most musicians I have met do use cannabis this is an acutal possability and a great idea for both getting the word out there, getting a decent turn out and getting the word out there more.

 

Anyone have any contacts with in the enterainment industry?

I also agree of not taking away tourist from Nimbin as it is a rural town and the festival brings in a hell of alot of revenue that is vital to their communtiy.

 

All a music and information and activism festival with its own security( no police needed) would be an excellent event though their is alot of involved in that task I will say once again its a awsome idea.

Awesome Idea. In Adelaide you would have to do the traditional protest march. Gather in Victoria Square, live music, speakers, people spontainiously toking up (as people do whenever you have outdoor live music ) and march to the steps of Parliament house.. Name a day and I will do all that I physically can to help out.
