Binge Drinker 19yo needs new liver

Saw this sad news story about a lad in England, Gareth Anderson who's a 19 year old binge drinker. He needs a new liver immediately or he will die. He's having trouble getting one cause he doesn't qualify for the liver program until he hasn't had a drink for 6 months. Looks like he's going to die. I was watching Dr Phil (while puffin' on a few billies...nothing like junk TV and cones) and there was this woman who was so fucked up with a raging prescription meds addiction. She had initially been given them for depression.

 

I sure wish that poor boy had discovered the wonders of smokin herb and someone sure could have helped that poor woman by rolling her a real fat spliff instead of sending her to the chemist with a script! When you compare the relative risks and harms of drinking versus other drugs it's impossible to justify current laws.

 

Anywayz I'm new to this forum and I'm getting more and mre upset about our drug laws. Still feeling my way but I want to start getting active in the fight to end prohibition. So I'm saying hello to you all and will follow these pages with interest.

Welcome man, too true. I cant believe America and their scheduling of drugs its atrocious they have methamphetamines under a schedule 2 which is considered mildly harmful/addictive with medical benefits while cannabis is a schedule one drug as being one of the most harmful/addictive with zero medical use. Every year they wage this billion dollar war on drugs including cannabis while alcohol, tobacco and many pharmecutical drugs are killing and ruining just as many people out there if not more.
