revegging

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I am just in the process of revegging some sativas from my grow room with the plan to throw them outdoors?....I currently have them on 24 hours light and I was wondering if I threw them outdoors now if they would start to flower again.....I have heard that Fathers day in September is a good time....should I wait a few extra weeks?

...also if I threw them outdoors from 24 hour light to about 14 hours would they start to flower again?

If you were to chuck them outdoors from 24 hours to 14 there's a good chance they will start flowering again. Ideally you'd want your indoors light to match outdoors sun for a seamless changeover. Change your lighting from 24/0 to 18/6 or 17/7 and wait several more weeks for the sun to catch up. :bongon:

:bongon: I'd stick her out now. She is going to try and bud because of the shorter days but as they are in reality getting longer she won't bud properly as she will want to reveg. Some will reveg easily, some will take ages untill they do stuck in limbo between budding and reveg and some will get 'frozen' in limo trying to grow buds right through the season untill the days get shorter again naturally. Only one way to find out what yours does

Ive always wondered if you could keep them from flowering by just putting a small fluro over them for a certain amount of time every night. Would that work?

Any light will keep them from flowering/ stay in Veg, even just the normal lights in your house.... the less intense it is though, may cause stretch, should be minimal if its only for a few hours each day and they get plenty of good sunlight for the rest.

You do realize that australia is in the SOUTHERN hemisphere, while the US is in the NORTHERN hemisphere! April 20 is smack bang in the middle of autumn in the southern hemisphere. Are you trying to tell us that's when we shoud put our plants out?

Maybe you should go back to that sunrise/sunset times site and this time make sure your looking at the right hemisphere.

Peace

I think the idea is to add 6mths to 420, call it 1020 for the southern hemisphere.

Personally, spring has sprung, and the association to Father's Day is merely an easy reminder (to some) about the beginning of spring.

If I was gonna do the rosegarden again this year (which I ain't) I would have seed in the ground now.
