my grow cupboard is hot

my grow room is 1m(w) x 1m (d) x 1.6M(h) i have a wilma 4pot flood and drain a rvk 150mm inline fan with carbon filter and a 600w hps in a coolshade but its still goes up to 35degrees celcius in here any useful hints

Since you are flood and drain I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you have high humidity also, which can be difficult and encourage mold.

 

Spray the walls of your cupboard with a mild bleach solution if you can't get the temp under control.

the first pic is my hydro system iv coated the top of the inside of the pots with speacial reflective foil to help reflect some of the light when there in seed ling stage

 

second pic is my light set up the chains hanging down are for a t3 florescent for seedling stage

 

third pic is fan & filter set-up in the loft planning to get a silencer to go inbetweeen fan and filter

You'll be fine. the only issue is when you combine that sort of heat with humidity. If you can keep it in the normal range you'll be ok.

 

The other issue with that kind of heat, which is of course normal in most areas above the tropic of capricorn, is a lack of water, you girls will transpire a lot and will require lots of water which you seem to have plenty of.

 

Do you live in a highset house of a lowset house with a crawl space underneath?

Also, what's the inlet?

 

Wondering if air is flowing freely.

its on the first floor of a two story house with no crawl space the exhaust goes into the attic, oh yeah and i live in england so its always bloody raining

the inlet is a 125 mm with a bog standered fan used to pull air down but laws of pyshics say that as the 150mm is pulling air out the pressure differance should pull air in

ive tried every thing to try and resolve this spenging over £200 gbp

no its super covert the loft is the only place i can draw air in from
