Strength of nutriant?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody find that when the nutriant is mixed in the resvoir to manufacturers spec. the ec comes up to aprox5.5 when it reccomends on the bottle itself an ec of 1.5 the nute i am using is ionic grow, reccomended dosage 7ml per liter, i would be intrested to know if anyone else had similar results, or if my ec meter is on the fritz, if its not which do you go by, the reccomended ec written on the bottle or reccomended dose written on bottle, cos there is a huge difference between the two

any feedback greatly appreciated

i go by the EC on the bottle

with "canna" nutrients i have to add more than the recommended dosage on the bottles

eg: if it says 2.5ml-3.5ml per liter to get an EC of 1.6-1.8 i have to use about 5ml+ per liter

to get my EC up to around 1.6 and I've checked the truncheon against 2 other bluelab ones

and it's bang on

4 plants on a 11-12 week cycle munch threw almost 4liters of A&B vega & flores

the recommended plan will have a minimum EC and a Max EC to aim for when you mix

most people shoot for somewhere inbetween

now hear dis

the best one to aim for is the minimum EC

economics rulez here as weedrocket is saying

it often takes a bit of fine tuning to suite each strain, stage of growth and physical size of the plant

whole idea is to max your plants growth rates as cheep as possible

seen

run your system as lean as possible while still maxing out the growth rates

thats why some aim for even lower than recommended
