Attached is a flyer publicising the rally being held during the NCPIC conference at the Powerhouse Museum on the 7th and 8th of September.

 

 

We need to get the word out where possible to any area that you think needs to be informed and mobilised.

 

If you are in Sydney and have access to a public noticeboard PLEASE print a copy of the flyer and pin it up.

 

I don't care where you put it up as there is no group name on it. Local shopping centre, University boards, TAFE campus, sporting club, RSL, whatever... anyplace where people over 18 gather. I'd prefer not to see it put up at places where under 18's gather as I think that would be counter productive.

 

We have only 2 weeks or so to get the word out. SO make it count !!!!!

 

If you don't like the flyer, change it to suit your area and then PUT IT UP !!!!!!!

 

We are hoping to get people wearing conservative clothing where possible to dispel the stoner look. Makes it harder for people to dismiss us as a 'bunch of druggies' if we look a bit more mainstream.

 

I am hoping to email a copy of the flyer to the student unions at the universities and TAFE colleges in Sydney, but if anyone reading this has contacts there please hand them a flyer to pin up in case my emails get ignored.

 

Any other suggestions welcome to get the word out.

The problem is trying to fit it all on an A4 sheet of paper for people to print at home and distribute to notice boards.

 

As I am emailing it to people I know personally for distribution I am explaining things further, but if you like I can try to make some different versions.

 

I am avoiding the use of colour in case people don't have colour in their printers...

tough going doing things across the Oz landscape .................. just about the B/W v's color issue. Most color printers have an option to print just B/W. People have too many choices however a color would add to it's ability to 'stick out' & be noticed.

 

I have my copy but will watch here for revisions.

 

I'm in Sydney there will be a few around the Uni and TAFE

 

There is a member here I have not seen or viewed any posts from for a while. Dam if i can remember his Nic

Drug Czar Blasts Medicinal Value of Marijuana

In a major display of blatant ignorance, U.S. Drug Czar, Gil Kerlikowske, stated, “Marijuana is dangerous and has no medicinal value.”

The director of the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy spoke in Fresno yesterday about the recent raids and marijuana eradication efforts going on in Fresno County, and made the following statement regarding the proposal of legalizing marijuana in California.

“Legalization is not in the president's vocabulary, and it's not in mine.”

i disagree.. advertising happens to be my job and i would suggest something else..

 

here is something i suggest... create a facebook group and put that on the page..

 

check out my attached pic.. you only have one chance at these people and they WONT turn the page to see the info so the one chance you have is on the front.. i have created something that should help but your help will make it better! (I just don't have the time to fix it up for you guys)

 

if you create a facebook page you can then send them a message a few days before to remind them.. then the night before.. etc so you can keep in contact with all the people who were interested...

 

also it is easier for people in sydney to send it to their friends online..

 

i also know my pic isnt the same as yours.. but i am only trying to capture their attention and get them to read it and want to come help or even support it..
