Suspended jail term for 146 cannabis plants

Recommended Posts

A 47-year-old Bundaberg woman has had her one year jail sentence for drug charges wholly suspended.

Adrienne Ethel Phillips pleaded guilty to three charges for growing 146 cannabis plants.

The Supreme Court in Bundaberg this morning heard Phillips was growing the plants to get out of debt after the break up of her marriage, the death of her son and two car crashes.
