Just to clarify...

Nothing was mentioned in any other media. A nothing news source like Adelaide Now is hardly a Sydney Morning Herald.

Hence a backwaters source. Did they have an exclusive that no other media wanted to pursue or do they print anything because their readership wouldn't question it? I have a feeling that is an old story that happened a year or two ago. I realise my reply was a little blunt so apologies to anyone offended.

Do your research before making claims like this mate :applause:

Cos if ya don't your gonna get shot down in flames...

Adelaide Now source their news from AAP (Australian Associated Press), they are not a backwater source, they may be inclined to run with rubbish stories but they are as mainstream as it gets.

the sad fact is, in mainstream jails they hand out sedatives like smarties. way back in the joh b j era i spent a week in boggo roads old 2 jail before transfered to Numinbah prison farm to cut out fines for - you guessed it , cannabis possession.

What i saw in Boggo shocked me, inmates would save up their medication for days and get so wasted! , twice a day 2 dudes would push a trolley a in and shout "pills up" and hand out little paper cups to their respective owners. Things may have changed now but i doubt it...best to keep em sedated .

the farm was much diff, as most were short termer's like me. It was a cow farm and we would find shrooms and billy them up it was almost enjoyable in a surreal kind of way! but my time at bogo made me despise the system more than i already did.

sorry for rambling off topic [been years since i thought about it]
