Glass bowls?

hey i wanted to buy a new glass bowl, i got a deluxe glass bowl and stem from B'n'T but the bowl is a little shallow and i have seen quite a few nice ones that would do much better

 

any online stores you can recommend would be much appreciated, i've tried good 'ol google but had no such luck

 

i am looking for a 14.5mm joint sized one is this sort of style (see photos), i am not really looking for any brand in specific, or any thing that has heaps of funky designs just something more cone shapped like the traditional metal cones, but glass and functional.

 

I noticed BnT had some but they where upwards of $70 and they arent exactly what i was looking for

 

any help is much appreciated,

yer EDIT or even the roor web sit if BnT doesnt have what u lookin for......but be warned u want one of them roor coloured ones mate 70 bux is gona seem cheep as chips

are bowls any good? i've never tried one but they look interesting.

i have used other peoples and i can tell the difference, they stay cleaner longer, and there is less of a lingering taste after a bit session, plus i can pack more in there and ethier toke it like a pipe or snap it in one hit,

You're going to need a screen for that large hole, I really don't like the german style bowls. If you want to be snapping like an Aussie should you can get hurricane bowls which have a small hole like our cone pieces and they fit 14.5

yeah as one user described them as "maccas straw size hole", i was give a link to one hitter type bowls by Weed Star on EDIT, they are out of stock at the moment unfortunately, but according to the user they have a hole about the same size as a metal cone and the cone part of it is slightly taller then the metal cone so you pack more in, they are pretty much EXACTLY what i was after (normal metal cone dynamics but made of glass)

I have noticed that most americans tend not to mull up there bud as fine as we doo, they usually just run it through a grinder and use that and maybe that why its stay in the bowl so easily,, where we tend to grind it (to save breaking apart with fingers) and then chop it up to a a real fine consistency (kinda like ground black pepper size and consistency) with sciccors or a knife and a chopping board (i have only heard of people doing this once or twice, but they always have the nicest chopped bud, but its so damm hard to do)

yep true I still haven't even attempted to pack anything in the standard bowl that came with my bong, its useless to me; you don't need to limit yourself to the weedstar bowl, I just mentioned it specificaly as I own one and found it to be good and it was only like $10

 

you might try the EHLE bowls aswel, little bit more expensive but the glass is better.

 

damn americans! is this bowl for a bong that you already have or are you making one or what? depending on the actual shape of the downstem theres a small chance of having issues with the glass mating if you know what I mean (same diameter, different tapered shape, probably would still work anyway though)

well i was considering using it with my current downstem (purchased from BNT) but i had the same thoughts about the ground glass not matching up, so i might just get a bowl and stem combo (maybe even a diffuser stem )

 

its was going to be used with this bong that i made https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...showtopic=25166 but i am considering making another one cause i find the neck on this one just a bit to narrow and it takes to long for the smoke to hit your lips.

 

If i do end up making another i will definitely take some photos during the process so people can make one themselves out of glass, as opposed to the rubbish plastic they use
