SO WHAT!!! I have 2 timers on specific on/off intervals and they are in 'common view'.

 

OK, 'stealth' would have just the one plug used and the timers would be out of the way. I don't have to bother much about stealth.

 

I can't help but show my feminine aspect, I reckon they look cute. Little '2 pack' of timers Bunnings had while I was looking around. They also had singles, and I only needed another one, but I couldn't resist (matched timers).

 

NOTE: Watch Bunnings pricing, these were marked ~12 bucks on the shelf, cost me 16 at the checkout (like I care) and unlike Coles they wanted PROOF by getting some yobbo to walk down the aisle. I told the young lass to forget it, I'd pay the extra coupla bucks.

 

Overpriced, unnecessary, and cute. Just what I needed. :-)

When you are in that situation at the checkout next time... the retailer must by law sell the item to you at the lowest marked price.

 

Just yesterday i bought a pouch of tobacco at Coles... gave her $15.25 as was marked on the shelf, and she said no sir that is $15.40... i said "well you best change your price tag then eh luv" and off i walked as she flustered and bubbered and looked around for security

Yeah and at woolies [dont know if they do it anymore] if a price is higher at the checkout than the shelf you get the item free. I got a small TV free years back cause the price was wrong at checkout

Check the scanning code of practice that is supposed to be shown next to the registers - the the items scans higher than the displayed price you get the first item for free and subsequent items at the lower price. FACT

I have had so many arguments with retailers over the years about this. Bastards get poor little children to try to enforce their rip off policies
