Mediums - What mix?

After only using perlite, I have recently acquired some bags of Hydroton, Coco & peat but have no experience with these mediums, what is a good mix?

 

I was also looking at using DIATOMITE in a mix due to the silica it will provide to the root mass.

 

So let me know what to mix for my next grow........

i would use straight hydroton for a recirc system.....but thats just me

I use just straight hydroton myself (in a recirculating system) but if you want to explore coco then you can use a few cms of hydroton in the bottom to help with drainage, and the rest coco
