THREE brothers, armed with 18 weapons, are alleged to have grown a major cannabis crop worth $600,000 at Mount Morgan, south of Rockhampton.

Two properties were raided and the three brothers charged on Monday afternoon.

As well as the weapons and drugs, the brothers allegedly had 2½ tonnes of stolen cement powder and a stolen trailer generator worth $40,000.

Most of the 206 plants seized have been burned. A few have been kept at the police station as a sample. ;) haha

The bust was a result of detectives from the State Drug Investigation Unit joining Rockhampton Stock Squad, CIB and Tactical Crime officers in a search of properties on Boulder Creek Road, via Mount Morgan.

The three brothers are facing 12 offences including major production of cannabis, supplying dangerous drug, possessing stolen property, stealing as a servant and possessing unlicensed weapons.

The men will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court at a later date.
