100mm Inline fan + 125mm odor sock

Recommended Posts

i want . is a 150 inline fan able to suck through that massive filter i think i dont want the big orange thing its too massive and loud . do you have yours on a timer is that ok for the fan? even then i have no grow space left thanks to this massive peice of crap . argh its so frustrating . i want to see how people have done the filter setups on cupboard grows . other wise i got to set up a room and fuck that i dont want to be seen as a massive grower

An inline wont handle the pressure required to pull through the CF, it'll just burn out, thats why we have to use the centri's.

What centrifugal fan did you buy? by 'Big orange thing' I'm guessin a 150mm spectrum?

I got a 200mm can fan (100w) to run mine, with the filter on it makes less noise than the old 8" inline did with an odorsok and speed controller on it, new one is not silent by any means but the old one is like a jet engine when run without the sok :toke:

The centri's are bulky but if mounted on the outside of your cab with the filter on the inside it can be boxed over to control noise somewhat.

A timer wont hurt the fan, although better off using a thermal controller or humidity switch for best environmental control IMO.

will draw up a sketch and materials list for the hangers when tonight when the kids are asleep, cant concentrate now :peace:.
