100mm Inline fan + 125mm odor sock

Recommended Posts

Do you guys reckon the fan will be enough to pull air through the 125mm odor sock in an enclosure roughly 60x50x120cm? The fan is an Ezi air inline fan.. or should i go the 125mm fan? Noise is an issue too but i guess there wouldnt be too muich noise diff between the two. Also can anyone comment on the effectiveness of the odor socks? Cheers.

EDIT: Ill be running 200W~ CFL in this cab..

i currently have a 150mm centrifugal fan sucking threw a 150 x 400mm phat filter and it does the job great.

before that i had a 200mm inline sucking threw a 150 x 600mm odor-sok

at about week 4 of flowering i could smell it in my backyard (inside house growroom)

but now with the phatty i cant smell nothing in the grow room let alone outside.

the noise from the centrifugal fan

i needed a heap more padding ontop of the acoustic ducting as well as around the actual fan

and i can still hear the fucker

i just got the phat filter its so fucking massive and heavy . so make room for it on the floor .

also grab a fan speed controller, (300w plug in light dimmer) works a treat for the noise while still too much airflow

fan is also fucking huge

make room for it outside the cab or consider building a stealth cab for it to sit in. hang it from stuff

Got a design for a CF hanging system if anyone wants I can show how to make it, fairly simple and all parts come from bunnings ect...

Came up with it to hang a 300x660 so it would be a cinch for the 150x500...

:yahoo:
