Ive gotta pull em REAL early! advice?

Recommended Posts

Bad luck Cal....that really sucks. Probably stating the obvious but was there any chance you could negotiate some extra time before renovations start? Even a week would make a huge difference I'd say.

Was trying to think of some non-suss excuses but I'm coming up blank at the moment. Maybe something like you're doing some temporary night work and need to sleep during the day?

If you want extra time pull out tenancy law. Even in NSW once your lease "expires" (i.e not evicted) it is considered as a continuing lease with the same rules.

But it depends on how well you get on with your landlord, whether you'll require their reference to secure your next property and really how much of a pain in the ass to the landlord you want to be.

From memory I think you said you live in QLD.....look up tenancy advocates if you want to make life difficult for the landlord as the shit she is proposing to do would be illegal in nsw..........you could probably even stay for another 12weeks under nsw tenancy law.

Its a no starter guys. I can stay here till its sold etc (which maybe another 2months) but tradeszmen are coming next wednesday. I think I'll take yr advice and start flushing. I gave a friend a heap of tips the other day and he reckons he was trippin from the fertz so, yeah, I'll start flushing. Anything I add now is just going to be a waste.

I think the best way to cut my loses is to flush and make it all into hash

ive had an idea fellas and i need you to put your considerable ozstoners brain power towards thinking about it...

Im thinking that because I only really need to get em out of the room and out of sight I can hire a enclosed trailer and put em in the shed in the backyard to run em out. Ive looked at trailer hire and its only anout 50 a day and you can get fully enclosed ones. Its an evolution of an idea i had last nite of borrowing my friends caravan, putting it in the backyard etc etc. However his van is on the market so...

How do you guys think about this? Ideas, pros/cons etc. What i thought you could help me with is a reason as to why the trailer has a power lead running to it when im asked - beause i will be. I think i mentioned before that the main drama is she wants to start renovations next week and I dont need to actually move for a month so... wot do you think...
