which strain?

memnock.....

most indica dominant strains will induce 'couch-lock' and sativa dominant strains are known for up, energetic highs....

this may not necessarily true for all strains, but works as a general rule....

if you are interested in particular strains, check out cannagenetics.com, and take a look at the user and breeder ratings, a lot of these include descriptions of the type of psychoactive effect....

hope this helps

Intresting topic, I often wonder about this.

I have never really known what type of weed I have bought but I've noticed subtle differences and always put it down to state of mind at the time.

People say Indica strains tend to promote a body type couch-lock stone and Sativa's an uplifting cerebral high but what about the effects of THC compared to CBD?

THC is supposed to produce more of an 'up' high and CBD a 'body' type stone. All strains contain both these cannabinoids but CBD is produced later in the flowering stage which is shown by the trichomes turning amber.

If this is the case then doesn't it disprove the Indica/Sativa theory and that the type of stone you want can be altered by how long you let the buds ripen in any strain??

with regard to the sativa/indica thing, I read that the length of the trichomes indicates type of high. Sativa have long trichomes and indicas have short, while hybrids have a mixture.

I bought a microscope for $30 at the National Geographic shop. Here's a pic I took through it

but I find it difficult to use. I also would be interested in where you can buy a 30X or more powerful magnifying glass.

Indica's have higher levels of CBD than sativa's, some sativa's have almost no CBD, mainly South African strains.

That doesn't mean that sativa's have higher THC levels though.
