Legal status in melbourne

I want to be able to grow 1 or 2 plants for personal use

 

I am just worried about the legal status, am I allowed to have one in my back yard? Is it socially acceptable to grow 1/2 plants even if the cops see it? Am I going to have to grow this in my wardrobe?

 

I live in Melbourne, down on the Mornington Peninsula, I was thinking of maybe planting it in some random location, is this practical? What time should I plant these random plants?

G'day stevecam .. no its not acceptable to have anyone see ya plants .. even a blind, deaf an dumb grandma, let alone cops .. see cops have a well earnt nickname "pigs" they got that for a reason too ...

so im recommending you checkout some wardrobe tutorials here @ OzStoners cause i reckon thats gunna be your best bet , plus you can have some little 'uns down in the bush ... bush? i dunno morningtime peninsula so have they got bush down there where no one ever goes? and ya need water close by cause they drink heaps when the weather warms up , see outdoories need alot of work and time devoted to them its a labor of love , where as the wardrobe thingy ya can pop in on them everyday, twice a day even and sleep close enuf to them that you can even hear them cry ...

yeh i agree, i think the best way to go would be a stealth wardrobe grow, but have a look around and check out your options first

I don't believe Victoria allows any growing of MJ so the indoor grow style is the way to go

 

There are plenty of grow diarys to have a peep at and don't be afraid to ask q's - there are plenty of good growers here that are happy to set you on the right path

In VIC, any cannabis offence is a criminal offence. If someone is charged with possession of cannabis in these areas and found guilty, they could receive a large fine or jail time and will have a criminal record.

 

A police officer may give someone a caution and offer them the opportunity to attend a cannabis education program if they are caught with no more than 50 grams of cannabis. Like NSW, only two cautions are allowed to be given to the one person.

You might want to start here with a simple wardrobe build. I would go with something beefier than a bathroom fan though.
