Still no delivery... just an apology because now they cant get what I ordered.

they got me this http://www.urbangardenershop.com.au/product/209/default.asp

and this http://www.urbangardenershop.com.au/product/208/default.asp

then had a fight with the supplier and...

couldnt get a hold of this http://www.urbangardenershop.com.au/product/315/default.asp

 

DO NOT order that nutrient range, they no longer have a supplier for it.

 

It took them 3 weeks to tell me that, now I am stuck with the nutes and no sea acids, think I will have to tell em where to stick the nutes and order something else altogether.

They are sending out one of the items I ordered free in recompense, woop dee doo, its a whole $8 worth of free stuff with a $130 order that they couldnt fill and that will be a month late by the time I get it :rolleyes: piss weak!!

Thats really fucked THC! when i order something i want it yesterday. Your one patient man to be waiting this long - I woulda spat after the first week.

WOOP-DE-FUCKING-DO! $8 freebie! You should be getting free delivery

 

Has anyone else recieved an order from them? I enquired about something and was told 10-12 days, I thought... and the rest...

Hi all urban shoppers,

 

I know of THC's difficulties and see that he is left waiting. However I don't see any objectionable and/or irrational responses from urbangardenershop, or from THC. Communication seem to be happening and as I see if any on-line hydroshop just starting out is going to face some stiff competition. So while this type of delay and 'no show service' I can understand I don't think hat it is doing there reputation here @ OS any good.

 

I think I have mentioned previously that I am looking to order a 400w 'Lumitec E-ballast from them.

 

I await your outcome THC - hope that while being an inconvenience to you I don't think your saying yet you have loswt any cash in this contracted sale. Thanks for keeping us informed.

I think this is basically a case of them getting in over their heads, too many orders before they had their service up and running smoothly. And pissing off the biggest hydro equipment supplier in oz wouldnt have helped them much either.

 

At this point I have lost no money and is purely an issue of them not being able to supply what was ordered, a refund has been offered.

OK,

Done and finalized.....

 

After 4 weeks of stuff around I got my money back :peace:

I ended up asking him to get a different nutrient instead of the Bio Mix, he couldn't source that either, so beware when ordering from him, definitely check if he can actually get your items before placing an order.

 

On the plus side, he is sending me out the pH test kit I ordered for free as an apology, however $8 worth of freebie doesn't really make up for 4 weeks of delay IMO :nono:

 

 

 

A further warning...

 

I have it from several sources now that he is running a dodgy operation, he has no warehouse and has been undercutting, so no large suppliers will give him an account.

When I spoke to him he confirmed himself that Holland Forge were no longer supplying him. However his claim was that they couldn't keep up with his orders, so he had to find a new supplier :peace: :) yeah right!! If Holland Forge couldnt keep up no one could, they cut him off.

Also, the second time I spoke to him on the phone he obviously thought he was talking to my mate (who the order is for) and started to slag ME off >:( trying to blame me for the bad communication and slow service :D

I just said "ok, righto, uhuh...... Can I have that refund now? I will order somewhere else thank you."

He will obviously pass the buck for anything that goes wrong and not take responsibility for his own dodgy screw ups.

My advice is to avoid this shop if at all possible, and if you must deal with him, check on item availability before ordering.
