I tryed to order the hivol can fan which I found out they dont stock either. He should really take em down if he doesnt stock em.

I too had issues with them not having what I wanted, i ordered a Power Plant 400w MH bulb from them, got an email a week later saying they didn't have it in stock and could i please choose another or recieve a refund, eager to get my grow going i chose another, a slyvania 400w mh bulb, which was all good, then when he emails me back saying that bulb is in stock he tells me that the shade i ordered isnt in stock, the seahawk medium one, so he tells me hes going to inculde a "better" shade at no extra cost, the seahawk which is about 10 bucks more, so i thought cheers man, he threw in some on the house volcanic rock dust aswell which was prettysweet. So yeah all in all i got a bulb, shade, panda film and rock dust from them, took 2 weeks of farting around to get the order sent, once it was sent however it only took 4 days to get here, which is pretty rad, however the box it all came in had about 50 $1 stamps on it , didnt look very professional let me tell you. so like others have said, they aren't dodgy in that theyre going to pinch your money, but i would indeed make sure they have what you want before placing an order.

 

P.S. they still have the bulb up on their page that they cant get in stock....me thinks this bloke bit off more than he could chew

Why try to buy something they don't have. Sounds easy as pie - I tend to check stock before i had over cash anyhows.

Ok, I have ordered my Lumetek 400w HPS Ballast. I did not go with Urnangrowshop.

 

I emailed to ask if the item was "in Stock" and "available for shipment" and how long - I mentioned that a 2 week wait would be acceptable.

 

A Standard reply - looks so like I've heard [read] here before"

 

Dear [Nitty],

 

Since we have just opened, and we have made quite a significant change to hydroponic supplies prices we came accross a large number of orders that caused us to delay orders in the 1st month we opened.

 

The second reason for delays is that our wholesalers dont always have some of the items in stock as well.

 

Iam happy to say that our avarge deleviry time for september is 4 days for east australia and 7 for WA.

 

The lumatek ballasts are not always in stock due to wholesale exlusivity that prevents other supplier to offer it to the austrlian market, our shop along with others shops are experienceing shortages for this item range.

 

We currenty dont have any lumatek ballasts in stock i can recommand either the lumlux or the more advance nextgen they are both in stock and it will take 3 business days to reach sydney.

1). a simple "no - not availiable" would answer better than the machine sitting 1 & 0's at yas.

 

2). the suggestions ['lumlux' & the 'next gens' were ok .............but I going with reliable authenticated info in this buy.

Made 2 orders from them in the last 2 months, one came in after 10 days as they said, the last one came after 3 days and i got a couple of free DM folier feed samples with it .

 

They got my business.
