Fans and Covering Light

I have 2 * 25cm exhaust fans in my Cupboard.

 

Since cutting the holes massive amounts to light pour out the back.

 

So i tried nailing some cotton sheets over the holes, but it cuts to much of my air flow down.

 

My Question, What will stop light but allow air flow ?

 

I'm sure im not the only person to have this problem as most setups involve both light and ventilation holes.

basically, an s-bend.

A length of ducting with a bend in it will trap light and still allow the air to flow.

 

Light cannot turn corners like air can

and as an extra it helps if the inside of the tube is black

Quite important, lots of light still reflects out of my 2x 90mm bends joined together! Light leaking out isn't as bad as in, however it does attract pests and whatnot.
