Media Watch takes SMH to task over false Cannabis reports

Recommended Posts

Last nite on ABC MediaWatch a segment about Sydney Morning Herald's sensationalist, erroneous reporting by SMH's Medical Reporter Kate Benson in an article titled "A Helping Hand For Dealing With Cannabis Addiction"

what a lazy bitch that Kate is >:( and what's worse is the tiny little correction, if you can call it that, that no one can really see!

Big :xcited: for ABC MediaWatch

MediaWatch has to be one of the best shows on TV at the moment. I got hooked on it ages ago and VODcasted the whole damn lot from the ABC website via iTunes. Spent a whole weekend laughing my arse off at the media getting a spanking.

Last nights episode has to be a highlight though. The only think I wish he'd added was that Cannabis isn't physically addictive.

WOO! Definitely going to watch this show from now on to help drive their ratings up.

I used to watch it all the time but ABC is such an awkward channel for some reason. But since all the good shows are off season on channel 10 I'll have time hehe

I also wish he hadn't made the joke about her maybe smoking 'dope' and thus getting the stats wrong. Implying Cannabis screws up your reasoning abilities. But whatever, just a joke I spose.
