Ive already been quoted $99 for 10kg which is pretty good however its in Coffs harbour or somewhere and im looking for somewhere closer

....when i say it doesnt sound too bad thats comparing it to my small filter which i paid over $100 for and i think its only got like 4-5 kg in it.

probably wouldnt even have that sally...

 

they only have like an inch thick layer..

 

the filter i got cost around 250$.. so its definitely better replacing the carbon .. might pay to have a spare filter on hand tho to use while your replacing the carbon on the old filter..

 

140$ for 20K.. sounds like a good deal to me.. most pet shops will have carbon, used for fish tank filters i think... how ever its not double activated... i reckon if you asked them they could probably get it for you tho.. i would think it would come from the same suppliers

Shit lucky i read further down the page and saw wot Sol said -20kg, I misread it and thort it was 10kg. Well that heaps better thean 10 for 114. How do you know you need RC-412 Sal? Im probably being lazy here but u wana tell me?
