Agung Euphoria Review

This is just a mix of different herbs (all which I plan on growing myself) that are completely legal. The ingredients contain California Poppy, Wild Lettuce, Damiana, Mullien, Mugwort, Passionflower and Scullcap. The bag was either 20 or 30 grams and cost me $14.50.

I purchased the mix at a head shop and it was intended to be smoked. The guys at the head shop advised me that it at most relaxed you a little. I purchased it anyways because I am weening myself off of cigarettes and I can mix it with the tobacco in order to help the weening process. As I was advised, smoking it only relaxed me a little.

I did a great deal of reading from the HHH book and I decided to make a tea of it. As most of you probably know from previous posts, I am a borderline alcoholic attempting to rid myself of that bad habit, and getting a high in a drink form is more desirable for me then in smoke form. So I looked up these herbs in the HHH book and found that these herbs can be made into a tea, so as previously stated, I did just that.

My wife and I are big tea drinkers, mostly drinking chamomile tea (Chamomile tea gives you a small high if you have like four in a row just so you know). So a year ago or so my wife and I had purchased a small tea brewing pot, that basically is a pot that has a grill that dips into the water, so you can chuck lose leaves in there and brew. The pot is big enough for about three teas.

Okay, so the story, I chucked about three teaspoons of these herbs in it and let it brew for about fifteen minutes. I then proceeded to drink one tea and seemed to feel a mild calm and slight head spin within even five minutes. By my third I was high. A strange type of high that I have never experienced before. It felt a little like a cross between a slight cannabis high and a slight alcohol drunk feeling. Throughout the high my mind was still able to focus and my motor skills were only slightly effected, so it is still not a good idea to drive under the influence. I then brewed another pot and then had the next three drinks. The more I drank the more the effect it had on me. I forgot to mention as well that the tea taste great and goes down very smoothly.

I did some testing and decided to do some yard work to to see if the effect wore off quicker if I was active, and it did. Being active made the six teas I had feel about three. I made another pot and had three more teas. Back to the same relaxed mild type high. I did a little more testing and it seems that the effects start to wear off (more quickly when active) when you are not actively drinking the tea. Even after 9 teas, which is all good for my health, the effects would tend to wear completely off within half of an hour of the last tea you had. The peak of the high for me seems to be about after 6 teas, and then all you are doing is sustaining the high. Another thing that could be done if you are having a drinking night is have the tea, then your alcoholic drink, then your tea, then your alcoholic drink and so on. This way your body stays hydrated and you consume less alcohol and even receive the health benefits of the tea.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience that I will keep doing. It could easily act as a replacement for alcohol if you are a designated driver (just wait until you are fine after your last tea), or if you are worried about the damage the alcohol is doing to you. Try it if you want, and share your experiences.

Sincerely,

Wesley

PS I love tea, and will be doing more reviews on teas in the future. I might even do a review on a tea as simple as chamomile.
