1.8m is a little to far for a 600 to stretch.. even with a rectangular shade, which is what youd need to be using to ad 3 600's in that space.. 4 600's would be a little over kill id reckon... but not out of the question.. see what works out cheaper..

 

i used to grow in a box that was 1.4 x 1.3m with a 1000watt 4ft parabolic shade.. never really had heat problems.. all i had was a 250 bathroom fan for intake and a 250mm bathroom fan for exhaust... so with a proper inline and carbon filter i couldnt see there being too many issues with the box.. i used to harvest around the 3-4 pounds from that box.. with a 9 pot system in there.. 4 clones per pot.. harvest the crowns.. then 2 weeks later harvest the rest.. double harvest = extra yields...

 

mate had the same set up really with a 1.7mX1.7m box.. same light.. used to harvest a little more.. around the 4+ pounds a grow...

 

with those specs being tried and tested to be ok for a 1000 watt.. id probably say with 2 1000's in that space.. parabolic.. or maybe rectangular shades might be a slightly better option.. i really think it would be minimal between the 2 shades... would definitely be fine for that room... of course .. get digi ballasts.. way cheaper to run..

 

with that size room.. i would be opting for maybe a 2 fan set up.. with a carbon filter at either end.. 2 X 150mm centrifugal fans and filters would be great.. also.. at the base of the 1.7m wall.. each end.. id install 2 X250mm bath room fans for pumping air in and around the room

 

2 x 6 pot recirc system would fit great in that space... from the grow you should be looking at some where around 1-2 ounces per square ft.. 1.8x2.4 is 48 square ft.. so you should be looking some where around 90 or so ounces... at the very least you should get 2 pounds per light

Thanks for the advice SS. I already got 2 600 digies and a 400 HPS and 400 MH that I use for veg so Ive decided im guna get another 2 600s.

That'll make it 4 600W HPS, Rectangular ducted shades, 150mm mixflo, 15000BTU aircon, 2 40W ozone gens in recirculated DWC system.

 

Picked the girls up today, Im just to keen. Theyre looking abit worse for wear but otherwise great. What was it... I planned on leaving it a month and couldnt even last a week = fuckin pathetic! Mind you I got that many vege seedlings out the back now.

 

I seriously gota get a new camera as I'll peg this grow up so everyone can watch my bumbling attempt at a recirc DWC! i usually just go recirc and was guna this time but theyre aleady bound in the net pot. Probly burn the house down.
