Plants to cold at night

My plants are in the garage and its freezing in there at night.Temp drops to around 10c in my growtent which could be stunting my growth.And it gets even colder with the fans going.What can i do to get it warmer?I thought of using a heat matt but with the fans going i dont think it would make any difference as i gotta give me babys oxygen.

Ain't much you can do if its in the garage... coldest room in any house.

 

I'd suggest moving the tent inside into a spare bedroom or something. Im guessing you have a reason for having to have it in the garage, but its pretty much impossible to heat...

Do you have an intake fan? Turn that off.

If not...

A timer on the extraction fan? Won't get as much air flow but will allow some heat to build up.

Either that or a little portable fan heater.

yea those temps are not ideal but heaters are a waste of elec imo , plant growth will be slower but you will still get a good return

run lights on @ nite time - off daytimes ... keep pots off ground, like on wood blocks

will get closer to optimal temps

and then temp drop isnt as bad in there night time

give it a whirl,u will still get cooler temps

but the fluctaution wont be as extreme

I have the same problem - I run the lights at night and give the girls their darkness in the arvo

It still has retarded growth and there's not much you can do

I even had to cut the fans out because they suck in freezing air and my room won't get above 10C with lights on

Yeh i tried the oilo heater thing but it only brings it up 2 degrees plus they cost too much to run all night.I will try the lights on at night thing,see how it goes.
