Well didn't I have a wonderful day today. My plants are in there 6th week of flowering and I noticed A bud that had a seed in it. Grr I scaned all my plants with a fine tooth combe and found ONE extremly small pollen sack. opened.... Hidden right under a bud. Well the good news is it was on a very low bud un my plants and none of the cola's got any pollen. but it is still very frusterating. This just goes to show that you have to inspect your plants very very thoughly when growing F1 seeds. anyways just thought i would share my anger.

your anger wont last long when you grow them seeds out and theyre all female.. i get this happen in my room ALL the time..in fact i welcome it... its nuthing to stress over.. so you get a few seeds.. in whats essentially a seed free crop.. its no great loss... the seeds will be exactly the same as the buds theryre growing from.. so its all good.. plant them out and grow them.. saves spending cash on seeds..

 

i would say your plants have either gone through a slight stressing.. usually its a timer fucking up.. not turning off when its supposed to... or a humidity or heat issue... or from serial cloning...

this is how they generate feminized seeds.. as i am told seed suppliers prefer to use stress methods to force self seeding rather than using Gibrellic Acid.. or GA34 to turn a female plant male to produce feminized pollen for seeding

 

actually i was just checking my indoor skunk1 crop thats almost ready for harvest ( ill be placing pics in the CREW section later today) and noticed the same thing... now im hoping theyre going to be ready when i harvest in a week or so when im done with the final flush..

its great because.. i was gifted these clones.. and the last crop i revegged one plant to try get it to self seed in my wardrobe(400HPS) to no avail... quite disappointing really as i tried the stress method using the lights and got no "hermying" going on.. i did however harvest over 11 ounces from the revegged plant.. which i thought wasnt too bad... i am using GA34 for this next grow.. i have 4 clones.. 3 in one pot and one in the other... when i turn to flower i will spray the single clone once a day when the lights come on.. this will turn the female clone male.. and will then essentially seed the entire wardrobe.. should net some where around 15,000 feminized skunk1 seeds... we'll see how it goes.. ill put a thread up about it when im done... providing all goes well...
