Why are the few people who are replying to this saying Tasmania has the more lenient laws of the states?

To my knowledge Tasmania still remains do only state were it remains criminalized?

Sorry to revive an old thread but, what's the grass scene like over in Tassie? I'm looking to move over there to study and live due to the cooler climate, but I don't wanna move somewhere where grass is scarce. I plan to grow my own in time, but while living in a rented one bedroom apartment, it might be a bit tricky

On paper, it seems you guys have really shitty laws regarding pot, but then people seem to say the cops are pretty good about it and don't really freak out about small things (eg a single plant, small amount of pot etc).

Hey fellow Tasmanians. In terms of possesion I think Tasmania is not to bad and in my experiance, the police are fairly lenniant, I have been caught rolling a J out the front of the saloon. I agree with pychoresin, it sucks not being able to grow with the fear of criminal charges, if our countrys leaders in canberra are allowed 2 plants why cant we, double standards for tasmania...Thats just unheard of.

 

 

aahh der no one wants to live in canberra.... thats why there is X-rated porn, weed, weapons, borderline illegal porn, and fireworks.

 

Either they are trying to bring the most fucked up people together in one state and nuke it, or they the polticians are planning on opening a theme park.
