Man I fucked up! After all the shit that has been said here about Aussieponics and their non stealthy shipping I went and made and order. I made sure I told em that in no way whatsoever was their to be anything hydroponic related on the boxes and the shipping invoice. Well, The boxes were fine, it was the invoice saying GROWLUSH WAREHOUSE on it.

Anyway, I'm thinking to myself, thats not too bad, its only the invoice, I should be ok.......

So, I stumble outa bed this morn about 8.30, open the front door to let the cat in, casually glance round rubbing the sleep from my eyes and who's sitting over the road.... in a marked car.... three of em.... LOOKING RIGHT AT ME! Fuck man, I could of cried!

FUCKING AUSSIEPONICS!!! They pull out, cause they was parked, drive real slow past looking at me all the time, do a U turn 100m up the street, cruise back and pull up out front. By this time Im well and truely awake but all I can think is FUCKING AUSSIEPONICS! they look at me for about 10seconds, smile and then piss off!

I'm still in shock, I don't know if i should pull em out or not.... you know how it is, you dont want to pull em up just in case but at the same time...

Must of been the courier, or maybe it was coincidence...

Another reason why u should get hydro related stuff sent to a safe addy.

 

Just lay low for awhile calaman, clean house and keep the comp clean "window washer" is a good program.

My adrenalin woulda been through the roof , not fear tho ... the cops have done enough to make me not fear anyone , especially them But adrenalin is adrenalin and hard to control heheh.

 

Um ... your safest bet is to get rid of ALL evidence ... even if it was a scare tactic by them. (sometimes all that is needed is a scare tactic)

 

But if you don't mind getting a slap on the wrist and a listing on your "permanent Record" like I wouldn't ... just refine what you have to a minimum like keep 4 plants and only the basic supplies needed for plant survival ... everything else , either move it to another property or trash it.

 

Of course , what I've said won't be of any help because It's bloody obvious heheh

But , Just trying to lend some support ...

Its bloody tragic isnt it!

I wish I could show you all my email conversation with Aussiepon where I told them, before I ordered mind you, that I would only place an order from them if they could guarantee me, 100%, no ifs or maybes, that there would be 1. Plain Packaging, and 2. No Hydroponic stuff of any kind on the delivery invoice. They said - yep, guaranteed. Its really pissed me off, I should have kept the email.

Couldnt have happened at a worse time too.

#1. 2weeks ago I finally got a order thru from PS - the first order I have EVER recieved after 4 tries. 10 days in and theyre all powering along, like I mean really powering, like 250mm tall, excellent roots, everything is great. Planted the whole bag too. I'm SOOO keen!!

#2. Have just started construction of my new, mega 2by 3by2m room and have purchased all the paraphenalia(or however its spelt). I sold my entire last harvest so I could re-tool whereas I normally dont sell shit.

I got no previous in the last 10years Frazz so there's no reason for em to be bothering me. I been good in my old age. Bloody Queensland too. Does anyone know if I was raided and all my lights and grow stuff was here but no pot can they take my lights?

I'm thinking I might quickly bring up some tomatoes and put em in with the rest and if i get enough notice (I bought a 4camera surveillance sys today!).....

I just plumbed in an Aeroponic setup yesterday, took me all bloody day!

The packaging (original "grow lush" carton) stealth score 0/10 - but everyone should konw that for the till well informed OSA site - I knew the 'stealth' issue but ordered knowing i would not have it up for months. A risk i was willing to take.

Budman2012 has a plan & good advice. work donee now even if it is feor nothing in the end is a lesson learn you won't forget easily.

Calaman, sorry to hear about your troubles man, that sucks to hear! Here's hoping that they were just sniffing around to see if you fit their "profile" (whatever that is) of a stoner/dealer. I don't know anything about Qld law but here in Victoria at least, there's nothing illegal about using hydroponics in your own home to raise legit crops. I'd take Budman's advice and minimize your risk by reducing your number of plants and start a grow of lettuce or tomatoes to justify the lights etc.

 

Personally I wouldn't be putting up a camera security system (unless it's really discreet) straight after they've done a drive-by. In my opinion that looks even more suss....like you've got something to hide or of value and actually draws suspicion.

 

I know this won't help in putting your mind at ease, but I'd also say it's a bit of a stretch for 1. A courier to give enough of a crap to ring/visit the cops based purely on an invoice that says "Growlush Warehouse" and 2. For the cops to action it with a drive-by in the days following delivery especially as you've got a clear record. Could all just be a really unfortunate coincidence. That said...better safe than sorry.

 

I hope nothing comes of it and you get your grow up and running!

Holy crap dude, nothing like the smell of bacon to wake you up in the morning. That is a horror story and a half. I will never deal with Aussieponics again, they did exactly the same thing to me (with the exception of cops watching me from across the road) despite the emails i sent them for discreet packaging, half of it was in a plain box, the other half was for the world to see and the invoice also said growlush.

Madness.

Thanks for your concern everyone. I would never have thought before however it has made me feel somewhat better! Maybe its because I'm telling people that know exactly what Im going through.

It was like the wicked witch of the north - she had that turkish delight and it was only $540 delivered!! - and it was such a good deal... ! I even extracted a promise from her for all the good it did me! Turkish delight gets me ever time!

I would have to agree with you Sol. How else can I explain it though? I thought as you did, that it was abit of a stretch. Especially as considering I usually get all my stuff delivered to a mates place and this is the first time Ive had anything delivered to home. I did think for a moment that it may just be the coppers being smart, a coincidence etc. I also thought - my guilty conscience. I cannot explain it so, to be safe, I will have to err on the side of caution.

Sol, great minds think alike, I'm going to agree with you again!! I have to say I was sweating razor blades waiting for the sun to go down so I could go hide my cameras - and not be seen hiding them. Paranoia is a horrible thing!

I have decided. Budman, Im taking your advice. Much as it pains me! Man, it really does pain me too! you should see the root development on these things at 10days - thru the roof! Damn damn damn... if I make it to the morning, I'm going to pick the best few and trash the rest. Chuck em in my mother box, pack everything else up into boxes and throw a heap of tomato seedlings in with em. If I'm real lucky they wont notice em for the tomatoes... yeah right! !

It will give me time to get a decent camera so I can document my re-rebuild in a month or so. Fuck its painfull!

I too did something that has made me feel uneasy.....I went to the local lighting warehouse to purchase a 100w CFL as I was sick of paying 200-300% mark up at the hydro shops. Well they had no idea what i was talking about and I bullshited them and told them my "mate" had this set up which was not quite legit and in it was this light and I wanted to use the light for a BBQ area as it was like a 400watt metal halide. Anyhow they took my name (not last name) and phone number as they had to ring around. Not sure if i should take their call if they ring or go back and buy a different light just to throw them.

 

Next time I won't be a tight arse and just pay $$$$$.
