What do you know about concealing?

Recommended Posts

where i used to live there used to be a liason person from the power company that would go over your usage and where there were any surges from say a couple of 30/40 amp lights on a timer this would get their attention, and then they'd let the cops know about it? Don't they do that here?

Yeah they do have liason people - they are constantly bothering me - trying to get to the bottom of why my usage is so high.

They do know what time I have surges and how much I'm drawing, but they just ask if I would like to have some info on how to reduce my consumption and the size of my bills which are quite large

If they are passing it onto the maggots then I don't know about it and nothings happened yet -- touch wood...

yeah id be careful cos the person who told me about this is a relative who works as a maggot. but knowing the basics of electricity, logic would tell me they'd have to have some sort of suspicion first then they'd have to install an expensive meter on the link between the mains and your house.

Also I suppose that's why so many people try and steal power, I was thinking of an alternative, you can buy 400w - 1000w chinese made windmills (don't bother with solar, it's shit) for around 500 - $1000, a cheap inverter for around $200, cables and a couple a of storage batteries for around $400, would be a sure fire way if your living rural to get around it.
