Plan to do a small indoor winter seed run and have some clones and nice F2 pheno's ready for summer. I better get cracking (pun intended), this strain is sativa dominant and has a long flowering time.

and yes I did notice the bastards cheaped out on one seed!!

Hi ~sawyer~,

Can I ask where you score the beans from & how long did they take sawyer?

:yinyang:

Looking sweet with new beans.

lol

Nitty.

I had a couple of orders with different seeds companies. I'm still waiting on silver Haze from PS which was shipped over 3 weeks ago. Never had PS take so long, so I figured they've been seized.

These Malberry were from Rhinoseeds (UK). They only took 10 days, but it felt like an eternity. lol

It's been over a year since this strain arrived on my doorstep. Since then, I've had the pleasure of growing, harvesting and finally enjoying the finished product. I thought I'd do a review for anybody interested.

A summary:

I grew this strain outdoors (latitude ~30S). Seeds were cracked in mid September, and plants was harvested in mid April. Total flowering time was ~10weeks, although it could have benefited from an extra week or two.

I found it to be a particularly hardy plant, as it often went without water for some time. The plant itself displayed mainly Sativa characteristics; long thin leaves, long internodal spacing and tall vigorous growth. The particular phenotype I grew also had purple stems.

Total dry harvest was 4 ounces, however a higher yield would be easily possible. My plant was tipped regularly for clones and not given sufficient water/nutrients. I noted that this plant did not clone very easily, nor did it respond well to 'tipping'. It took a long time to bounce back and growth seemed to be inhibited. A different Malberry plant that I did not tip fared considerably better.

The quality of the smoke was excellent. I had numerous friends remark it was some of the best they had tried in a long time. The smoke was incredibly smooth (6 weeks curing minimum) and the high pleasant and uplifting.

Overall, I would recommend this strain as something for the outdoors enthusiast who enjoys a quality smoke.
