I am trying to find out who funds them. I bet you it's the same as drug free america company - Tobacco and Alcohol.

 

Check out this bit they have on Heroin. I really hope they don't have funding coz this is the most unscientific drivel I've ever heard.

A heroin trial will not reduce drug deaths nor get addicts drug free because –

 

· Heroin is a dangerous mood altering drug

 

 

 

· Giving heroin to addicts will lead to more addicts as trials approve the use of heroin so more people will believe it is OK to try heroin then become addicted

 

 

 

· Heroin trials keeps addicts on drugs

 

 

 

· Only detoxification & rehabilitation gets addicts off drugs

 

 

 

· Governments using confiscated heroin used for heroin trials become pushers of drugs which damage its own people

 

 

 

· Governments growing heroin and giving it to them in heroin trials oppress their own vulnerable citizens

 

 

 

· Seized heroin not destroyed and given to citizens in trials profits drug cartels that have grown & smuggled the heroin

 

 

 

· Heroin trials undermine anti drug work by international law enforcement agencies and are condemned by the United Nations International Narcotics Control Board

 

 

 

· Taxes must get people drug free not keep them on drugs

 

 

We support-

 

· More detoxification and rehabilitation programs that divert addicts into a permanent drug free life.

 

· Court ordered detoxification & rehabilitation programs.

 

· Less addicts

 

· Less drug pushers and drug related crimes.

Got me buggered what there is to get angry about. This is nothing new..

 

If anything, i prefer to avoid bashing other drugs, to make pot look better. As it seems to be delving towards Hipocritic views/values. It doesn't matter if something is good or bad, or even legal or illegal. If it's a drug, it is just that..

 

If you're the activist type. Entering into this tit for tat, in relation to other drugs is something best avoided. As you open an entirely new pandora's box that will only be used to tarnish cannabis image even more. Best just to stick with Cannabis Decriminalization and not stray much futher. Otherwise you may get lost into the abyss.

 

But hey, each to their own..

I just don't understand why Cannabis is even talked about in the same ball park as Heroin. It should be directly compared to other herbal medicines, not drugs!

But that site mentions Cannabis as well

I think they are shut down now though, not part of government or something.

The gov prolly still gets their info from there though....

More doomsday phrophecies to the un-educated! I started to read some of these, found their view points mind altering! Its sad to think about the people who read these things without any experiance getting brain washed into being scared with their fear mongering. I just shook my head in disgust to see how much crap they expect people to swallow. Well sorry control freaks, I didn't inhale. DACA, thats classic! just proves the jokes on them!
