Prepaid credit card from post office ( no trace ) but people need to be aware that when you go online and order you leave a trail behind you that can be traced back to your computer......order online from an internet cafe to be sure and that also includes the registration required to open up an account, do that at the cafe as well. Just covering my tracks so to speak

They're gift CC's....no signing up, no names...nothing. Just find out how much you need and buy appropriate amount ($50/$100/$200etc).

johnnyb, not every card needs to be activated online ........ and its simple ... find an internet cafe if you are a techno-phobe and dont understand networking... tcp/ip...

Most of seedbanks now take payment with credit cards but with a verified by visa / Mastercard secured system, so you can forget about prepayment card or gift cards. There is good seedbanks like Paddyseeds who ship to Oz without problems in a very discreet letter. Some banks accept as well Western union payments. The thing when you order abroad is too patient. It take sometimes 2 week to get the precious letter.

When I ordered my first seeds I sent cash in an envelope and got the seeds about 4 weeks later... Wonder if this method is still available ?

There were instructions such as send in a birthday card and put in between 2sheets of carbon paper...

Yeah the option is still available with most vendors Billy... but you'd be advised to register the letter and that's an expensive pain in the butt these days that that requires ID. Post costs to the UK have doubled because Auspost has changed the way it charges for international destinations and in the new age of insecurity, it wont be long before a Dna sample is required to register a letter.

 

On the flip side, posting stuff to NZ is now relatively cheap!
