grinder stuck

you know those metal grinders with the lid, the teeth, the screen and the powder reservoir down the bottom yes?

mine is getting stuck when i try to open it. i have managed to get it apart and cleaned some stuff out of the screw thread part and while it has got better it is

still doing the same like it might just do it again. is there anything i can do like wash it or oil it?

Don't oil it as all your herb will stick to the oil.

 

If you want to clean it soak it in metho then scrub with a toothbrush, the metho will evaporate off so no need to rinse with water.

hey mate just take it apart and scrub it with a tough brush and hot water, get all the resin out of it, let it dry and it should be sweet again!

if it were me i'd scrape as much as I could out with a pair of scissors as that is basically hash stuck in your grinder. Will give you a nice little pile to put on top of your cone Then go to town on it with the water and brush, or steam as mentioned above.

Scissors are too sharp and will scrape the surface too much, sometimes leaving you with little filings in amongst that resin. I've found putting a piece of cloth in some boiling water then chucking it into the grinder and putting the lid back on, leave it in there for a minute and then using a butter knife with a dull edge to scrape out what you want works best.
