It's policies such as the ones covered in this topic (both political and commercial) that, in the end, cause revolutions and popular uprisings. The SMALL PERCENTAGE of the population who come up with these idea's soon run out of sensible things to change, and start clutching at straws in order to look like they are earning their ridiculous paychecks and pensions.

 

Stand up for your civil rights, the Howard gvt ran a huge propaganda campaign throughout their term in office, which is being continued by the current Rudd gvt, a campaign to brainwash the general public into accepting whatever rubbish gets "approved by the australian govt canberra" tacked on the end. They have used it to make this one of the "western" countries least likely to succesfully repeal Cannabis prohibition legislation, due to the almost blanket negativity in the media and the almost brainwashing of children in early schooling.

Scary how much my 9yr old knows about "marijuana", yet they really teach them nothing that will prepare them for exposure to it as teens, just that its bad... (like all drugs) all very southpark

@ SA. They're like fuckin' guinea pigs lately. I read about the laws they passed where doctors have to report kids who are having underage sex to some central registry or face a $20,000 fine. All doctors said it would not work and the first week it was up the system got overloaded. So all those kids who NEEDED protecting were fucked.... again.

And the most fucked up part? This also applied to pharmacists and GROCERY STORE CLERKS who served underage people who bought condoms!

What the fuck are they trying to do.

 

Now for the Hydroponic thing. This is likely to be the same. There will just be way too many people and the system will be overloaded. They will catch LESS people buying to grow Cannabis () and it will cost shit loads of money. Then the people will catch on to what is happening and less hydro equipment will be bough by regular people growing veggies and this will ruin the environment more because hydro is way more water efficient and pretty much better in every way.

 

So.... put simply.... They're MORONS!

 

Oh yeah.... and now with the internet filtering we're basically the most un-free western country. Anyone else noticed their internet is slower? I suspect they've started already without telling anyone. Apparently the wiki leaks site with the list of banned websites is, you guessed it, BLOCKED!

You will still be able to buy everything as I understand it, just that you would have to produce I.D. This is easy, fake I.D. or get someone you trust who dont grow to buy your stuff. Either that or grow veggies hydroponically outdoors in your back yard as a cover for your garden
