'Borrowing' elec

Recommended Posts

^^^hahaha^^^

Each to there own, but dont come on here asking advice about that type of shit IMO!

"borrowing" electricity is indicative of commercial grows and that is not what this sites about and talking about "borrowing" electricity would surely attract the wrong sort of attention....no?

And another thing......if u have to come on here asking these types of questions then u shouldn’t be even considering it as u obviously haven’t got the brains to pull anything off that substantial and its way out of your scope!

"Play with matches and u will get burnt"

Yep, blame 'the man'. Makes you feel good?

Been doin' it for 20yrs. So you stole from the government before you stole from private enterprise. It's still theft.

It's probably time I stepped away from the thread. I've stated my opinion and heard yours.

Thinking I had to come back to this for one reason, stealth, or more precisely not putting your hand up and saying 'Hi, here's a grow room, come and get it'. If out of 10,000 houses in suburban Sydney 9,999 pay electricity bills of $300/qtr and yours is $300/mth it's probably going to raise a flag somewhere.

Funnily, 20yrs ago when I 1st did this I rang an electrician 'Yeah mate, need a 15A circuit to the garage' and he enquired as to why (funny that). My story was that the girlfriend had got interested in pottery, and stuff her, if she was going to have a kiln in there I wanted a lathe.

Best excuse for a power upgrade to the garage is a welder, both arc and mig welders draw a shipload of current, I cant use mine on a 16 amp circuit even with all the grow gear off, and its only a baby 140amp arc.

Get em to put in a 30 amp curcuit and be done with it :yinyang:.

and dont steal power, you might get away with it, but it increases the chances of your getting caught by about 600%
