gday everyone =]

 

first of all, here are the stats:

 

600w HPS

nutes: Coco grow part A & B and Budlink

watering once a day for 1 hour using flood and drain.

4 weeks into flowering.

this is my first grow and everything was going well until i turned to 12/12. since then the new fan leaves have been looking very sick. does the plant just need more food during this period?? any advice would be great. cheers.

feeding for 1 hour a day

i think that where u drama is

reduce the feeding

cannabis like to stretch its roots

so letting the medium dry a bit between feedings is beneficial

id be feeding em 3 times a day at 1 minute feeds

ofc depending on ya pump and flow rate

if youre 4 weeks into flowering.. and youre using coco GROW nutes... id say thats a pretty good sign that youre an idiot...

 

try using flowering nutes.. seeing as youre in flower and all.. i would have thought that was a given...

fair call for the flowering nutes. ill invest in some and see if that does the trick. but the fact that it says "grow" does not define vegetation or flowering; at least for a first timer. i was under the impression that i was able to use coco grow throughout the life cycle due to the guy at the hydro shop saying that is all i needed...

I'd say that it is a combo of using GROW nutes instead of FLOWER nutes and watering incorrectly. See the new leaves curling under and length ways - that's classic overwatering

alright no problem. overwatering had come to mind but it had been going fine until now so i didnt want to change that cycle. thanks

if so they are the 1 mix threw vege and flower

generally u add pk 13 14 at the appropriate time

The guy at the hydro-shop did not give misinformation

 

As billopuffalot points out the Canna Coco A & B is a one part mix with dose both flower and veg!

 

I'd still get the 'Canna Flores' A & B (2 part Flowering nutrients). Canna in compatible product and should not cause any problems.

 

Do you recall the guy in the hydro-shop telling you that you need to double (increase) those nutrients when in flower with veg being at a lower dose ? 1LT bottle dose 3 - 4 grows depending on how many plants obviously.

 

You will have to look at you watering shedual. Get yourself a "PH Pen" (Hanna I recommend).

 

It is tricky using Coco as a medium with getting just that right amount of wetting done and enough so the roots can get enough oxygen and to have the time to breath.
