Thanks for clearing things up Pure. I had been away for almost a week and had no idea what had happened. I was frustrated as it took me two days to get a definitive answer. I'm not so frustrated now though

After reading Pure’s explanation I still don’t understand why all the law reform threads were deleted. I would love to hear the other side of this but that’s impossible because they have either left or been banned. Couldn’t the thread(s) simply be edited?

 

The thing that pisses me off most is that a 40+ page thread with great information and incredible goodwill and co-operation was deleted because admin had problems with a couple of people (correct me if I’m wrong) who were supposedly trying to scam money out of us or taking the movement somewhere admin didn’t approve of? We even had Justin Brash return to the site after how long? All gone now along with some very motivated members.

 

The NORML thread that was deleted was done to protect us from what Ozstoners perceived as simply a money making exercise by that organisation. Again the whole thread deleted and at least one very motivated member gone. Then another thread gets deleted and Pure claims some of the leaders were just in it to make money out of us? Newsflash, I can make up my own mind about where my money goes. We are all over 18. The only cannabis organisation that has made money from me is Ozstoners (apart form seed vendors). Was Ozstoners threatened by talk of forming another forum? I ask this seriously.

 

I wish this forum wasn’t protected. Political reform should be democratic not some secret stoner business. The kind of censorship displayed here is the complete opposite.

 

As far as I’m concerned Ozstoners has killed potential law reform in Oz stone dead. Best of luck to those left but to me the whole episode just leaves a bad taste.

Don’t really know the story but there were 3 people who knew each other really well and purposely got on the deleted threads to push their own power tripping narrow minded ideas across and weren’t prepared to listen to anyone else.

 

Personally I don’t give a fuck who’s right or wrong but those guys aren’t the ones to be leading anything and I’m glad they’re work got deleted! Now we can get on with real law reform.

 

Just my opinion.
