Clay rocks since

Any1 got an easy way suggestions on how to clean roots from clay rocks...?

Are u talking about expanded clay? i thought this was a once use medium?????

Yes they are supposed to be good for up to four grows but they do need cleaning and sterilising before re-use and I don't know of any easy way to clean them completely, I think that you would find it a lot easier to get some new rocks, they aren't all that expensive compared to the drudge of cleaning them.

g'day; easy to sterilise....get a bottle of beer brewers bottle steriliser powder, soak them in boiling water for while, agitate a few times, rinse in boiling water, let dry.

maybe bleach will clean them too.

you can put in oven at highest temp setting also.to burn all microbes that may be in clay balls.you could possibly even put it into fire and it be good to re-use.

rockwool cubes can be burned to remove roots etc and then re-used also.(have done it).
