roots excelurator

Recommended Posts

I been using it for years, yeah its expensive, but with most things, ya get what ya pay for. Afew of the guys have played around with some cheaper alternatives and got good results.

Sounds like you used it in a DWC set up.......  lol ........ yeah, bad call, on your part, or whoever told ya that was a good idea.

Roots excelurator. IMO a complete con and waste of time and money. H&G marketing in a flashy aluminium bottle and retardedly inflated prices for what is essentially fulvic acid illustrates the abysmal degree of pseudoscience garbage that befuddles this industry. I bought a bottle of this a while back after getting sucked into the hype over it on the farm. Even though it didnt make sense, fucking idiot. Contrary to myth THERE ARE NO LIVING MICROBES IN IT! If there were H&G would have to pay stupendous amount of cash to get it past our strict regulatory quarantine laws, not to mention others. Besides, if you keep your system clean you don’t need beneficials your plants synthesize all the antipathogenic compounds they need – including THC! All it did was stain my root brown and if anything caused a slight reduction in yield. At over $100 for a 250ml bottle or whatever it’s a total rip off. I shudder to think about all the dollars I’ve wasted over the years on useless additives…but roots excelurator would have to come in at the top 5.

I have to disagree with you there.

If I only used one other product with H&G A&B it would be Roots Excel. It grows me some very large and white roots and I have never had root rot using it. I can control what happens above the pot by keeping the Ph/PPM right and keeping the bugs away but I cant see downstairs. At least I know the roots are getting  looked after and I an quite confident about it.

Nah no PGR's Ethno , its basically a beneficial bacteria cocktail with a film that coats the roots letting good bacteria/feed in, and keeping bad bacteria/diseases out as well as building a healthy Rhizosphere in the medium. That in combination with another expensive product, the Amino Treatment, is pretty much all the plant needs besides food at the right time, and something to dissolve the dead roots from pots.

Lot of people have found aeration as used in DWC kills the bacteria, and makes these products form a sludge in their resi. I found out by aerating a resi i had sitting with feed pre-made, came back next day, it had all dropped out of solution and made a mess.

DO NOT aerate mixes of beneficial bacteria based growing mixes...... its actually a bad thing.
