ozone generators - lamp type

Trying to source a lamp for my ozone generator and just got put on the spot when he asked me what I used it for. What can you say? One of the small ones that have the internal airpump are easy - you can say a miriad of things, but a large 700mm unit with the fan on the end that uses a lamp - what can you say? its got me stuffed!

nah nah, maybe you could say you have a small tanning setup (tanning animal skins) at home and its to eliminate the smells from that .. cause they can be stinking during processing ...

 

doesnt it shit ya when you go in and ask for something and they say 'what do ya want it for?' usually its the lead up for selling you something else cause they dont have what you actually want

you could be an auto detailer and use it to eliminate foul odors that have accumulated in vehicles interiors. Mildew, pet odors, urine, vomit and smoke odors - cleaning taxi's would come to mind

 

or

 

you could say you breed mice for reptile food and use it to eliminate the mousey odor which has been attracting the local neighborhood cats - damn cat everywhere in me backyard

The neibour on one side of you has a badly maintained compost heap that they will not move...the council won't help, so you're left with cleaning the air that comes in from that side of the house?.....

That's the way If they aren't discrete, I simply don't give em my business, most hydro shops are smart enough to not question purchases beyond the usual sales pitch...

 

That said I have had to come up with some interesting reasons for buying materials from non hydro shops .

I once came up with a complete design for a ducted heating system for my house to get one of the local companies to order me insulated ducting . The guy at the local plumbing supplies must think I have the best stormwater drainage system in town as well .
