Looks like the guy came home to find the fuzz snooping around his house for 'evidence of cannabis' (I wonder who they served the search warrant on?) and he lost it. Killed one and injured two and now he's holed up while keeping the cops at bay.

5 bux some prick turns this into a 'weed makes you a homicidal maniac' issue.

These crap saga's are born because of "The War on Drugs". When the hell are the Governments going to wake up and end this bullshit. Here's hoping Senior Constable Len Snee wasn't a family man. As it stands, it's a tragedy already, but to put a family though this, all because of a bit of green is uncomprehensible.

Take away the plants value (cannabis), 'n you'll remove the reason for these nutjobs, to arm themselves. I for one have been pissed off for quite some time with this association of Firearms and Cannabis. The two don't go together 'n most western governments legislation does nothing more, bar promote it. People are dying because of the plant, but it's not from using it. It's because of the dumbarse laws that promote cannabis value, on the black market..

Now don't get me wrong with what I am about to say, I do not condone violence, but let's just consider a few things for a moment.

The Government have declared War,

The man is an highly trained soldier and they brought their WAR to his door.

He took them up on their declaration and engaged the enemy, He killed one, critically injured 2 others, inflicted minor injury on a civilian who went to the aid of an "Enemy soldier" (to him), and it is believed he shot a drug search dog in the police van.

He has now established a defensive position within his own house and is waiting for the next wave of the enemy to attack. He remains communicative with the enemy which is unusual and is therefore trying to negotiate a peacful settlement to the battle they instigated.

I would have said a simple case of cause and effect and if the agressive forces withdraw from the field of battle there will be no more casualities!!!!

:peace: Well, If you choose to declare "war" on someone what did they expect? A sunday school picnic with cookies and scones ending with hugs for everyone and the person they have chosen to attack and victimize happily letting them lock him up and and deprive him of his rights and liberties. Yea right. Hang your head in shame NZ police, you'r "war" has failed yet again this time killed an innocent bystander, a much loved workmate, a dog (who never asked to be a part of your "war" by the way) it has landed 2 people in hospital and the person you were targeting as an "enemy soldier" in your "war" has been forced into a position where suicide became the most attractive option left to them. Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you.

Wake up people, The "war on drugs" has left a trail of broken families, lives, left many dead or maimed both physically and mentally, it has cost millions and millions of dollars and has achieved little more than to be free advertising for the drugs they claim to fight.

Peace MongyMan

Yeah I agree with lightning on this one[surprised me yeh]

Their term " War on drugs" is an obvious misnomer, they know very well its a war on "drug" users.

Just more of the bullshit, just like having a coffee or drinking a beer are both using drugs because the drugs that are in them are the only reason they are so popular. Its all very clever on the do-gooders behalf I'll give them that, the sheeple just love that long fringe over the eyes look ;)

cheers
