Thanks for that, bu ti'd prefer to go into a shop and pay cash rather than have hydro stuff delivered to my house.

Hi Michel_bend,

There is the odd yet diminishing "Hydroponic shop" in Sydney. Yea you will have all the equipment to eyeball before handin over all that cash for the super-inflated prices they want for there 'hardware'.

 

Some hints

 

- North side beaches have one or two.

 

- CBD (Bondi, there abouts) & Parramatta Road

 

- West - Hills area, & pacific highway.

 

Take you choices and chances.

a hydroponics shop uses CCTV to record video of customers entering and purchasing........do you want video surveillance of yourself walking out of a hydro shop with enough gear to grow a crop ?? if your paranoid about using electronic transfers and door to door delivery i dont see why you cant be paranoid about being on camera

bunnings or any hardware dude, exhaust fans from around 20 dollars, for a cheapie or around 70 or 80 dollars for a better one with bearings..... elecrical stores also worth a look at.

I'd like the All Vent Uf200. I've found a couple of shops that I can get them from but they're too far away.

 

I think it's a fair call to be paranoid about giving some complete strangers my address when buying hydro gear! I've been the victim of a house invasion before, not going through that again and not taking ANY chances.
