Exhaust fan size for 2.8 x 1.4 x 2m tent - Sydney

Hi all,

 

Just wondering what the best fan is for the above sized tent? I live in an apartment block and am after something as quiet as possible, but that will move enough air to grow healthy plants. I'll be running at least 2 600w HPS lights, possibly a third with 2/3 plants.

 

I've searched but can't find anywhere that has information about room size, wattage and recommended fan size.

What is the best place to buy fans in Sydney? I'm trying to find a store who really knows their stuff. Most seem to have just a few fans and limited info about them.

you have 7.84 cubic meters look for a fan that moves around 500 cubic meters and hour this will exchange the air in your grow tent roughly once per minute now u have the choice either centrifugal or axle fan a 150mm-200mm centrifugal fan will do u just fine but keep in mind they are loud and as u say your in an appartment so more than likely neighbours will hear the fan running all hours of the early morning u can go with 2x 200mm axle fans these should vent your grow room use one for intake and one for exhaust they are quieter than a centrifugal but not as powerful hence why u will need to use two insted of one centrifugal
