Purchase of Seeds

I've been looking all over but have been unable to find liable information regarding my questions, which is why I ask here in hope that perhaps, someone here may possess the answer or perhaps, where to find the information.

 

I know that the laws are different from state to state, so i shall say that i live in Tasmania.

 

Is it illegal to purchase seeds online? ( the origin behind this question is me hearing numerous things such as, it only becomes illegal when seeds are planted, it only becomes illegal when buds start to form and so on)

 

If the package were to be intercepted and the contents found, will i be facing prosecution ?

 

and lastly

 

If the contents of the package were to be found and i were to be prosecuted, could i be likely to face a jail sentence?

Is it illegal to purchase seeds online? No it is not illegal, it is however illegal to take possession of the seeds.

If the package were to be intercepted and the contents found, will i be facing prosecution? They would make sure you took possession before arresting you, so yes they would prosecute you.

 

All this could well change in the next few weeks, keep an eye on the high court case in Melbourne, we are going after the Treaty, therefore removing all the laws especially on Cannabis.

Yea lightning, Ive been reading all your posts since i signed up, and i have a great amount of respect for what you are doing.

Also if they wait for me to take possession what if i 'ditched' really meaning hid the seeds, and they could not find them, would they be able to prosecute me?
