How many plants is safe? If busted

Recommended Posts

I, errr, ummm, hmmm......bugger. I was thinking of someone who had access to more research material than I, someone with more intelligence than I or even someone with more time than I.

But, OK, I'll give it a go. I'll get back to you in about 6 months

Hehe, that's the thing iamnotacop. You 'n I and everyone that has an internet connection. Has the same access to all the information in regards to this topic. You don't have to a genius to find it, google a few key words (drug laws or drug legislation of the state/territory you reside in) and bingo, you'll stumble onto a plethora of information. The next thing that is required is the time to get the right and current legislation and then keep it all up to date. Because different States/Territories often change the legislation every couple years. That's where the kicker, comes in. Someone could compile all the info, but keeping it all up to date is another thing.

In my opinion, i think every stoner should at least research this topic themselves (in their state/territory), every few years. That way they can't blame anyone for giving them "out of date" information that they once seen in a forum.

People in general nowadays have become slack and expect others to feed them information with little to no effort from themselves. Personally, i tend to think the info doesn't sink in, that someone else tells them. Compared to if they researched it themselves. It not that hard or indepth, just a bit of time and patience and you'll be up to date with current legislation in your state/territory, in no time..

Now, i'll save my opinion on buck passers for another day..

Well apparently after extensive research, on my behalf, I have come up with this bit of info, thanks to need4weed3.

Well done!! need4weed3

I aint got enough bucks to pass them to anyone

hehehe

But you are right, I was wrong in even mentioning it. The laws change all the time, considering all the states involved. So it was wrong of me to assume that someone could compile a list of all the laws, for all of the states, and then keep them updated.

Coool. more "out of date" information. I know at least New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland have had legislation changes since that date, without devling into it too much.

Not only that, someone's site that does a run down in laymans terms doesn't really touch on laws in a proper manner. As it is, there seems to be a lot of grey areas that coppers/drug squad officers work around. It pays to get the information from the source, and understand it.

For example, in the state of Queensland. There's at least 3 documents people should be looking at.

Drugs Misuse Act of 1986: DrugsMisuseA86.pdf

Drugs Misuse Regulation 1987: DrugsMisuseR87.pdf

Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000: PolicePowResA00.pdf

But if people want to take someone elses word in regards to their state/territory laws. Then so be it, just be prepared to take a fall if it ever eventuates because you don't fully understand the laws or legislation.

:)

EDIT: Eventually, those PDF files above will also be "out of date" as well, in time to come.
