How many plants is safe? If busted

Don't know if a thread has been started on this but what would be the safest number of plants to have if busted? other than none.

 

All states are different, so I guess a state to state guess would be good.

 

All depends on previous stuff ups I know, lmfao while roflol but since I seen the light (600watt) and corrected the error of my ways (Different seeds) what would be the lucky number to keep you out of jail????

Heheheheh none if ur on parol.........sorry mate not 2 sure, love 2 here the anser but i dont think there is one, i think the time u do come down to if the judge got a good root the night before or got left diss satified, i say thins cause i know of one person dui first time high range got 3 months jail..............another mate 3rd time , no licence and ran from em got 3 month suspended sentance, so good luck and just dont tell noone and cover ur bases and u be ok buddy:)

Was hoping on ppl actual experience about hearing or knowing ppl busted. Not big time growers but the small personal growers who do it to save being ripped off buying the stuff and knowing what is being used to grow it.

 

Years ago had a mate busted with 13 seedlings outdoors (80's) and got off on a good behaviour. Another was done with acid, speed and 3 full size plants and got community service and conviction?

 

So all I was asking was it better to have 4 than 8 and before you reply again I know 4 is better than 8 but don't want to hear "Shit m8 if you had 6, all would be good ".

I actually had very similar questions to ask and seeing as this topic has already been posted, we may as well consolidate the silly questions. I currently live in Perth and I'm considering growing a small amount of plants for personal use only. I have absolutely no intention of selling to anyone else. I have done a bit of research and from what I understand the laws since the "Cannabis Control Act 2003" mean that possession of small amounts of weed (30g or less I think it was) can be dealt with by issuing a CIN instead of being sent to court. From the information that I got it also stated that a CIN could be issued for possession of no more than 2 non-hydroponic plants.

 

My first question is, assuming that my information is correct and not outdated, is the issuing of a CIN at the cops discretion? So if he has had a shit day and discovers 2 non-hydroponic plants in my home, he can decide to refer the matter to a court anyway?

 

The second question I have is what exactly do they consider to be hydroponics? From my understanding it is a plant grown in a nutrient solution instead of soil, however I have come across information (also mentioned earlier in the thread) that if it is indoors you will get busted for it regardless of whether it is planted in soil or not.

 

Thanks for any replies and I realise that this topic is probably brought up on a daily basis, but I haven't been able to find answers to those two specific questions. My knowledge on weed in very very limited so be gentle.

- there is the law which says if you crack a seed your cultivating which is illegal.

 

After that fact I'm tthinking you have 2 other major variables;

 

v1) p/officer - the p/o attitude

 

v2) you - your attitude

 

This obliterates the need for your question. It could be a single just sprouted seed (one) or could be 6 or 19 or 399,

After being caught it gets more hectic with the entry of more people.

I do not see what is wrong with this question, i been growing for awhile and know OF a few others and you hear all different sentences for all different amounts. Legal stuff is complicated and its a fair question. I do not understand frazzles point of view at all. Does he realise how posting like that makes him sound?

 

I have herd a common consensus that under 10 is generally not gunna land you with time, but cultivation method and other factors are taken into consideration. Do all the preventative stuff, but also set up ur grow so it doesnt sound bad in court. EG NO SCALES, positive blood reading for THC, no cash, no expensive assets unproportional to your income, so on so forth.
