I have been told to wait till the two water leaves go yellow this is a sign of nutrient defeciency as i understand it.

Well I rock on in to my hydro store, to buy dutch master advance and came out with amsterdam indoors and Potash ,

 

Dutch master looks good and so does AI but the advance is $20-00 a+b normal price and the AI was on special for $10-00 A+B so i got the IA,

Anyways chatting with him about the nutes he said they are both good but the IA seems a little bit better because it has other things added, IE silicon, vitamins etc,

He gave me Xtreame potash and said this shit will blow you away, it makes the buds solid as a rock and big, he said Im giving you a bottle free to try as Im certain you will keep buying it after this,

 

potash must be good shit,

So as per his recomendations I have turned my lights 12/12 and mixed up flower nutes, I added the nutes first to 1400ppm, and then brought the total mix up to 1820 to flower, I use dutch master max the potash and the IA now he said nothing else is needed,

 

I chatted to him about Superbud and he said its fucking awesome shit but it stops plant growth, so what ya do is veg to the max size you want the plant and then use superbud, it will not grow ANY higher but will max out and become solid bud (WOOHOO) so im gonna try some next time I reakon,

 

He said 6.3-6.5 PH is the go too,

I took a few leaves which were looking kinda sad, hey the plants were looking sad this morning????

He said shit bad Nute deficiency I couldnt understand why??? I had dropped my PH to 5.5 as I read this is better he said yeah its too low but shouldnt cause a def, So i roll home and go to change my nutes and FOUND my fucking pump laying in the bottom of the res, the poor plants hadnt been fed for fuck knows how long( max of 4 days).

 

CAN anyone please tell me how much I need to flood my hydroton does it need to 1/2 fill the res with the plants or 1/4 or what??

 

anyone else run or know about flood and drain???

I have the two res type with nutes in bottom stacker, plants in hydroton in the top res,

It has this stalk thing in to the hydro ton and a drain plug where it runs back to the res, Do I put the pump on the bottom of the stalk or the bottom of the drain plug thing???

Hey all here is a bit of a dunb question but here goes with the nutes it sayt to mix up 20mls of A to 5 lts of water and the same with part B so dose that mean i need 10lts of water of or is it just A+B in 5 lts of water sorry if i sount a bit of a goose on this 1 but i am not sure so that is why i am asking

My guess, but watch the plants for over nutrient problems just in case.

If its the "Canna" brand of nutes then its 20ml A & 20ml B per 5litres of water

Hey all with my nutes tank should i put an air stone it to keep the oxygen in the water and to help keep it mixed as well
