I just have a question. How long could it take for the cops to raid a grower if they were tipped of by a squealer who bargained for a lighter sentence. Could they leave it for a year or so in order to make it look unrelated to the dog or would they nip it in the bud before things change?

Well really depends

 

could be anywhere from 2 days to 6 months maybe longer. Very hard question to answer

 

but imho i would say after a month you should be in the clear unless they trying to build a nice phat case on ya friend then it could be a few months gathering evidence, but cops dont like doing that much so they tend to crash ya door at the whisper of weed/drugs being in the house

 

what my question would be is why said squeeler knew he grew in the start and would also inform said friend he needs to choose his friends more carefully

if it is an unexceptional grow they will surely raid within in a short space of time imo ... cops dont give a shit about squealers, if anything they also despise them, albeit they love the info ..

if so get rid of it all they wont mess around getting a warrant then show up at 5am

when my bro inlaw got raided the warrant was issued one day they raided 2 days later the warrant expired the following day from memory

It took them about three days to knock on my door after being dobbed in, that was in Victoria. Six fucking cops one had his hand on his gun. For three plants.
