i need advice on lights off ventilation

ok so all of my grows have been in a sealed room with a dehumidifier and AC ,

 

 

i am now setting up my first grow with a vent system, my setup is in a closet of my bedroom with 2x400w hps and 8 plants (hopefully 4 female). so as far as when lights are on i just keep the closet door wide open with a box fan blowing over the plants and lights to keep it cool.

 

i keep my bedroom door or window cracked a all times so the humidity and air dont build up in the bedroom itself (8 plants transpire ALOT )

 

ok so now all is good, except i start budding soon, and i will be turning off lights and shutting the closet door for 12/12,

 

so all i need is ventilation for the dark cycle to keep the humidity down the small closet packed with plants wont get mildew.

 

i just need to know about what kind of CFM is needed, to remove all humidity from the 8 plants(4female)

 

prety much how fast do i need to vent the air in the cloet so the humidity gets no chance to build up

i have a1 inch 1000 cfm vortex fan i got for 250$ i was gana use for lights on and off

 

but the damn thing is way to loud and just too industrial for what im doing (massive overkill on my part)

 

but anyway do u guys think i can just use a good bathroom exhasut fan from walkmart?? i realy dont want ANY humidity built up when i off the lights and shut the door, this strain is prone to mold i grew it in a basement b4 and had mildew all over the fan leaves

 

im just worried tha ta bathroom exhaust fan wont remove the humidity build up fast enough

 

 

closet is 4x5x8 with 4 or 5 females all in 5 gallon pots (soiless coco)

 

maby i will get 2 or 3 bathroom exhast fans and run them all just to be shur, me and overkill i tell ya

 

but ya what u guys think, i need advise

i'd buy 2.. 180 mm allvent fans if you are in oz . they quiet ,pull and push a heafty volume of air and i've used mine for the past 6 yrs , oh one just popped it's clogs , but hey i just buy another

Let me get this straight .

You have 8 plants in a wardrobe

8 plants (hopefully 4 female). ?????

Unless u want seeded weed (YUCK!!) then u want all female and if you've got males in the same area as females then the females will turn male . Any sign of balls rip them up

When you turn 12/12 you're gunna get a growth 'splurt' and 8 plants in a wardrobe, I hope its a walk in robe.

Me, I have 1(one) plant in a 2mx2mx2m room and i have problems with the splurt.

As for the air flow, I agree with Everest. These fans pass a high volume of air and are specifically made for the industry.

But you could getaway with a '2 or 3 bathroom exhast fans' if thats easiest

I have an oscillating fan moving the air around as well as an exhaust that way everything breathes and the stale air is exchanged. I have the fans running as a constant as the combined heat from the lights and the moisture from the plants

it can become stiffilingly hot.
